Webber slams new podium format

By Editor on Thursday, November 15, 2012 Red Bull driver Mark Webber has criticised the new podium format in Formula One. Since the British Grand Prix at Silverstone, the top three finishers have been interviewed on a new-look podium. 'I think it is a new format obviously…' said Webber. 'I certainly wasn't impressed in Silverstone with 1000 dignateries up there. I think the podium should be for the drivers, no one else. A clear shot of celebration of the drivers and what they have achieved. Not having everyone stand in front and having their five minutes.
