HRT receives first fine in Texas
HRT has racked up the unenviable statistic of being first to receive a fine in practice for the United States Grand Prix, after Ma Qing Hua broke the pit lane speed limit. The Chinese driver was clocked at 69.9km/h five minutes before the end of first practice at Circuit of the Americas, equating to a fine of 2,000 euros (£1,600). Ma was the only reserve driver taking part in the session, replacing Narain Karthikeyan, as all other teams preferred to give their drivers maximum track time.
