Practice 3 Report - Vettel tops closer session
Sebastian Vettel (1:36.490) continued to set the pace in preparation for US GP qualifying but he now appears to have some competition, with Lewis Hamilton (1:36.748) getting much closer to the Red Bull with his McLaren.
Pastro Maldonado had some lurid monents in the Williams but ended up third quickest (1:37.001), ahead of Fernando Alpnso's Ferrari (1:37.180) and Nico Rosberg's Mercedes (1:37.247).
Felipe Massa (1:37.262) put the second Ferrari into the top six, ahead of Mark Webber (1:37.298) in the second Red Bull, Sergio Perez's Sauber (1:37.415), Nico Hulkenberg's Force India (1:37.495) and the second McLaren of Jenson Button (1:37.558).
