Drivers face a dirty inside line in Austin

The even numbered starting grid positions at the Circuit of The Americas for the United States Grand Prix is an odd proposition for the drivers to contend with. Drivers are concerned about starting from the dirty side of the grid worried that there won’t be any adequate grip when the five red lights go out on Sunday. “I did a launch from it earlier on in P3 and it was quite slippery. Hopefully it's is just about getting a good start,” said second-placed Lewis Hamilton after qualifying.
