Webber: Still nerves over Red Bull reliability

Mark Webber believes Red Bull should be apprehensive about reliability following another alternator failure in the US. The Australian was running third when he was forced to retire from the race in which the team won the Constructors’ Championship. Although Sebastian Vettel’s collection of 18 points for second position was enough to seal the teams’ title, the German is still fighting in the drivers’ race with one event to go. “In the end, it was the alternator again,” Webber explained in Austin, having handed a podium position to Vettel’s rival Fernando Alonso. “That meant we lost the batteries, the KERS, our gearbox synchronisation and so on....
