‘Chinese company interested in HRT purchase’
HRT had to cope with very difficult circumstances across the Austin race weekend. Not only could jobs be on the line as the Madrid-based outfit is up for sale, but both Pedro de la Rosa and Narain Karthikeyan feared they would not qualify for the US Grand Prix. On Sunday, Spain’s El Periódico newspaper reports that the outfit could soon be purchased by a Chinese investor, although the team is not commenting on the matter at present.
