At a glance: Interlagos pole position sitters
Interlagos first staged a Grand Prix in 1972, when local favourite Emerson Fittipaldi started on pole position; however, the event was not part of the World Championship until the following year. Since then, the race has featured on both ends of the Formula 1 calendar and crowds have witnessed a selection of superb flying laps.
