Perez reveals Gutierrez as Sauber driver
Sergio Perez inadvertently revealed the second driver for Sauber on Thursday confirming the speculation that has surrounded for the sole vacant seat at the Swiss team. Nico Hulkenberg was announced as one of the drivers for Sauber next year, with the future of Kamui Kobayashi in doubt; an uncertainty which was established as a potential death-knell for the Japanese driver’s Formula 1 career. Test and reserve driver Esteban Gutierrez will be promoted to a race seat for 2013 completing Sauber’s line-up, according to compatriot Perez.
