Massa pays tribute to his father with helmet livery
Nov.23 (Ferrari) As far as Felipe Massa is concerned, the final race of this season’s Formula 1 World Championship will be one dedicated to his father.
For his home race, Felipe has chosen to race with a helmet livery that takes its inspiration from the one used by his father Luiz Antonio, who used to be an amateur Touring Car racer.
The design features the same colours, blue and orange, and a large M in recognition of Sid Mosca, the legendary artist who produced helmets for Formula 1 drivers such as Ayrton Senna, Mika Hakkinen and Michael Schumacher and who passed away last year at the age of 74.
