Van der Garde positive over race seat chances
Giedo Van der Garde is hopeful that he has done enough to secure a race seat with Caterham in 2013, but admits that nothing can be taken for granted until a contract is signed. The Dutchman says it is now up to his management to try and seal a drive, with Charles Pic being confirmed at the squad on a multi-year deal on Friday morning. Van der Garde says 'it all looks good' for 2013 but is keeping his feet in the ground'That's hard to say,' Van der Garde told GPUpdate.net when asked about his chances of racing alongside Pic next season.
