Gutierrez: I don't know if I'm ready for F1
Esteban Gutierrez has conceded that he doesn't know yet whether or not he is ready to step up to F1.The GP2 Series race winner was, as expected, confirmed as a Sauber race driver on Friday, taking the second seat alongside Nico Hulkenberg. Despite having been with the Swiss-based outfit since 2011 as a test and reserve pilot though, the Mexican was surprisingly honest when asked if he thought now was the right time to progress to the top level.“To be honest, I don't know if I'm ready yet,” Gutierrez told speedtv.com. “I think when I'm going to be living the position of being an F1 driver next season, then I'm going to know if I was ready or not."But definitely I feel that I was...
