Mercedes: Much more was not possible
Nov.24 (Mercedes) Nico Rosberg and Michael Schumacher qualified in 10th and 14th places today for the Brazilian Grand Prix at Interlagos. A rain shower 30 minutes before qualifying meant that parts of the track were still damp for the start of Q1
After a brief exploratory run on primes by Nico in Q1, both drivers used the option tyre throughout qualifying
Michael missed out on Q3, whilst Nico went through to the final session but was unable to qualify higher than P10 Nico Rosberg
To progress into Q3 and the top 10 in qualifying today was a reasonable achievement for us. Our car set-up was a little compromised due to the race conditions expected tomorrow so we should be in better shape...
