Hamilton: I can speak to Mercedes staff
Lewis Hamilton has revealed that he will be able to spend time with Mercedes staff before his McLaren contract officially ends at the end of 2012, with the 27-year-old moving to a new team for the first time in his Formula 1 career. Martin Whitmarsh, McLaren's Team Principal, is believed to have granted the 2008 World Champion permission to get accustomed to his new environment early. 'I won’t be doing much technical work with Mercedes, but Martin says I am allowed to talk to people,' Hamilton is quoted as saying by the Daily Telegraph.
