Disastrous End To 2012 Season For Williams

Williams’ 2012 Formula One campaign ended with a whimper as Bruno Senna and Pastor Maldonado both crashed out of the Brazilian Grand Prix. Senna almost inadvertently cost Sebastian Vettel a third world title at turn four on the opening lap with the contact wiping the Williams out. The Brazilian driver was sad to see his home race end in such circumstances. “I had a good start and was racing well but unfortunately I had an incident when Sebastian tried to take the apex and there was nowhere to go. This is racing and sometimes these things happen. I want to take the opportunity to thank the fans who were such a big support at my home Grand Prix as it always makes a big difference…”...
