Maldonado targets improved consistency

Pastor Maldonado hopes that Williams will be competitive on a more consistent basis next season, having completed a rollercoaster 2012 campaign with the outfit. The Venezuelan, who holds the unenviable statistic of collecting the most number of penalties this year, believes the potential to become firm front runners is there if he and the team can find a way of fully extracting their underlying pace at each event.
