Kamui raises £500,000 through website

Kamui Kobayashi has already managed to raise £500,000 through a fundraising website which was set up to help him to secure a race seat. The Japanese driver was left without a drive for the 2013 campaign after Sauber opted to go for a Nico Hulkenberg-Esteban Gutierrez partnership. Kobayashi, though, is determined to remain in Formula One and he set up a website, www.kamui-support.com, which gives fans a chance to donate funds towards his cause.
