HRT missing from 2013 entry list

HRT's Formula One career looks to be over after the team was omitted from the 2013 entry list for the World Championship. The FIA published a 22-car entry list in the wake of Friday's deadline by which all teams had to pay for next year's Championship. Under the regulations, HRT were expected to fork out $500,000 as they failed to score a single point this past season. However, the team's future in F1 was in doubt after owner Thesan Capital put HRT up for sale last month. Although they stated at the time that they had "a number of groups interested in buying the team", no-one came through.
