Austin hoping to change date of Grand Prix

United States Grand Prix organisers are seeking a date change for the 2013 race, with fears that an American football match could cause traffic issues and lower crowd numbers when the Circuit of the Americas hosts its second F1 event. Around 100,000 fans are expected at the University of Austin game on November 16, which is qualifying day at the Hermann Tilke-designed venue. Following confirmation of its November 15-17 slot at a meeting of the World Motor Sport Council (WMSC) in Turkey on Wednesday, Chairman Bobby Epstein outlined his main concerns.
