Goodwood forced to change date

The Goodwood Festival of Speed sees both modern and historic grand prix cars displayed on the hill Sutton Images The organisers of the Goodwood Festival of Speed have said they will change the 2013 date following the FIA's revision of the Formula One calendar. The 2013 Festival was originally scheduled for the weekend of July 5-7 as it was a free weekend between the British and German grands prix. However, the FIA this week moved the German race forward by a week in order to open up an additional slot for another European race on July 21, leading to a clash between the Formula One calendar and the Festival of Speed.
