Mateschitz: Toro Rosso must improve
Red Bull boss Dietrich Mateschitz has warned Toro Rosso that it must improve in 2013 after a tough season saw the team drop to ninth in the F1 standings.Despite an impressive young driver pairing of Daniel Ricciardo and Jean-Eric Vergne, the team was able to score just 26 points all year – the same as ousted Jaime Alguersuari had managed alone the previous season.Much was made of the issues the team faced with the STR7, with technical director Giorgio Ascanelli being replaced by former Force India and Sauber man James Key, and Mateschitz said improvements had to come next year.“Toro Rosso is still our rookie team and its goals differ from those of Red Bull Racing,” he told the new...
