Ricciardo pleased with progress

Daniel Ricciardo says he is pleased with the progress he has made as a driver after bringing the curtain down on his first full season in F1.The Australian secured a race seat with Toro Rosso for the 2012 campaign having competed for HRT in the latter stages of 2011, but endured a difficult campaign as the team struggled to get the best out of the STR7.While he finished inside the top ten on six occasions, Ricciardo only picked up ten points all season but he insisted he had learnt a lot that he can take into 2013 when he returns for a second full year with the team.
