Hamilton visits Mercedes factory to begin work
Lewis Hamilton is already getting acquanited with new employers Mercedes, having visited the team's factory to meet engineers and complete mileage on its simulator. Hamilton's switch from rivals McLaren will be officially marked on January 1, when his Mercedes contract begins. However, according to The Sun, outgoing Mercedes Motorsport Director Norbert Haug explained: 'Lewis has already been in the factory to see the team and fulfil some duties after we found an agreement about that with McLaren.' Hamilton made his final public appearance for McLaren just over a week ago, completing demonstration runs in the team's MP4-26 at the Malta International Airport.
