Perry gets BBC F1 gig
Former MotoGP presenter Suzi Perry has been named as the new anchor of the BBC's Formula One programme.
The 42-year-old Perry will take over from Jake Humphrey, who is moving to BT Vision next year to front their English Premier League coverage following four years with the public broadcaster.
"Motorsport is my life and I've really missed being away from the grid. I am so excited to be joining the BBC," said Perry, who covered the BBC's MotoGP coverage for 13 years until 2010.
"Working alongside such an eminent team and the F1 world is a huge honour and I can't wait to get started."
Ben Gallop, BBC Head of F1, added: "We're delighted to welcome Suzi to the team....
