Thailand likely to feature on 2015 calendar
Thailand will almost certainly hold a Formula 1 street-race in 2015, according to the country’s sports authority governor Kanokphand Chulakasem. A Thai Grand Prix was initially proposed for 2014 but was postponed by a year due to the addition of two new races that season – Russia and New Jersey. “With Thailand on the calendar, a current race is likely to be removed,' Michael de Santiesteban, a representative of Red Bull owner Chalerm Yoovidhya, told the Bangkok Post. No formal arrangement has been made as of yet as officials are currently in talks with F1 boss Bernie Ecclestone for the prospective night race, expected to be held in the country’s capital Bangkok....
