Nurburgring to host German GP
Despite the circuit's troubling financial situation, the 2013 German Grand Prix could take place at the Nurburgring as originally scheduled after all.
Normally the German GP alternates between the Eifel circuit and Hockenheim since neither circuit has the financial clout to pay for the race on an annual basis. The 2013 event was scheduled to take place at the former, but after it was declared bankrupt largely due to the failure of the planned amusement park on site, doubts were cast over the viability of the arrangement.
