Perez gunning for victories with McLaren
Sergio Perez spent his first day as an official McLaren driver at the team’s base in Woking on Wednesday. The 26-year-old, who has been compared to Ayrton Senna in Mexico, intends to win with the British team. Driving for Sauber last year, Perez scored three of the team’s four podiums and very nearly won the Malaysian Grand Prix. Sergio Perez is geared up for the massive change in his career after his transition from a mid-field team driver to the pressures of producing results for a title-winning squad. The 22-year-old, who has been compared to McLaren’s triple champion Ayrton Senna back home in Mexico, is targeting the crown in his debut season with the British team....
