Fresh doubt over Nurburgring
Bernie Ecclestone has delivered a more pessimistic assessment on the Nurburging's chances of staging this year's German GP. Although the historic circuit's financial problems are well documented, the F1 supremo had indicated last week that July's German round was still most likely to take place as scheduled at the Nurburgring with talks over a deal for 2013 ongoing with the race organisers.
However, in a fresh interview with N F1, he has clarified that no deal is yet in place and a decision on whether or not the venue stages the race can even wait until once the season is underway.
