Leal joins Racing Engineering alongside Leimer

Racing Engineering has announced that Julian Leal will join Fabio Leimer at the team for the 2013 GP2 season. Leal is entering his third season of GP2 having made his debut for Rapax in 2011. He failed to score a point in his first year as he registered a best finish of ninth place in two sprint races, but after switching to Trident for the 2012 season Leal scored nine points, with seventh in the feature race at Spa his best result. He will join up with Leimer once again having been team-mates at Rapax and said he feels he can improve further this year.
