Hilmer replaces Ocean Racing Technology
Hilmer Motorsport has been granted entry to the 2013 GP2 season as a replacement for Ocean Racing Technology. The team is run by Franz Hilmer, who owns Formtech GmbH which supplies several teams on the Formula One grid. The team replaces Ocean Racing Technology which has had to leave GP2 and GP3 due to financial difficulties, and Hilmer admitted that he now faces a race against time to get the team fully operational by the first test on February 27.
