FIA announces replacement for Hartstein
The FIA has announced its replacement for former medical chief Gary Hartstein, who was dropped by the governing body at the end of the 2012 Formula 1 season. Dr. Ian Roberts will take on the role of the sport Medical Rescue Coordinator, reporting directly to Professor Jean-Charles Piette, the permanent F1 Medical Delegate. More to follow.
