Alonso calls for one or two fewer races
Ferrari's Fernando Alonso believes there should be fewer races on the F1 calendar and that it would 'maybe be better' if one or two were dropped.The Spaniard also added that he would like to see more testing, echoing comments made by Ferrari president, Luca di Montezemolo last month just before the Christmas break.“Last year we had the last Grand Prix at the end of November and almost right up to Christmas, there were events I had to take part in,” Alonso said this week at Ferrari's pre-season Wrooom event.“There's almost only the end of year holiday when one can have a break although I'll try to fit in a few more days between now and Melbourne to recharge my batteries."Twenty...
