Warwick: Government needs to support Silverstone, young drivers

BRDC president Derek Warwick has urged the UK government and the National Lottery to help Silverstone and young upcoming British drivers'.Talking to Sky Sports F1 Online, Warwick added it is unfair that British athletes will get given so much support in the build up to the Olympic Games in Rio in 2016 - with the cycling and rowing teams both reportedly getting over £30m each - yet nothing is done to foster the next generation of drivers that will replace the likes of Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button at the very pinnacle of the sport.Warwick also added that Silverstone, home of the British Grand Prix, could also do with a bit of backing in the face of increasingly stiff competition from...
