Official: Glock and Marussia part ways
The Marussia F1 Team has confirmed that Timo Glock will leave the outfit with immediate effect. The German, whose departure is on good terms, had been a member of the squad since it entered Formula 1 back in 2010. Glock, a former Jordan and Toyota driver, failed to score a point during his stint at Marussia, with the sport's newest teams unable to break into the midfield battle. After a total of 91 Grand prix starts, the 30-year-old says although a motorsport career change was unexpected, he is 'very excited' about what the future has in store.
