Heidfeld signs LMP1 deal with Rebellion
Ex-Formula 1 driver Nick Heidfeld has been confirmed at Rebellion Racing for the 2013 season. The Swiss team is active in the American Le Mans Series and the FIA World Endurance Championship and will also participate in the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Heidfeld contested a small number of races for Rebellion last year, including the prestigious Le Mans event with Neel Jani and Nicolas Prost. The trio finished fourth overall, while the team was ranked as the highest ranked LMP1 privateer. In 2013, Heidfeld will again be joined by Jani and Prost, while Andrea Belicchi, Mathias Beche and Cong Fu Cheng have also confirmed their places in the line-up.
