Button to kick off McLaren test programme

Jenson Button is set to begin McLaren's testing programme this year, with the Briton currently penned in to get behind the wheel of the MP4-28 on 5 February at Jerez. Sergio Pérez, who is entering his maiden season with McLaren, will take over for the second day of running, while the final two days will be shared in a similar fashion. McLaren will present the new MP4-28 chassis at its Woking base on 31 January.
