Nurburgring to host GP - reports
According to reports in the German media, officials at the Nurburgring have reached an agreement with Formula One boss Bernie Ecclestone to host the German Grand Prix in July as scheduled.
The agreement came after a long-running 'on again, off again' sage that circles around the bankruptcy of the legendary circuit, German publications Allgemeine Zeitung and Rhein Zeitung claim.
Hours before Rhineland-Palatinate state spokeswoman Monika Fuhr confirmed the latest reports, Ecclestone admitted that the track's future was still unclear.
"It's all a bit messy," Ecclestone was quoted by the Daily Mail.
