Marussia announces MR02 launch date
"true">Marussia has become the final team to announce the launch date of their 2013 challenger. The car will be revealed on the morning of the opening test in Jerez, on 5 February. The MR02 will be the first car under the Marussia guise to be designed using wind tunnel technology, after scrapping the CFD technology used from 2010, when the team raced under the Virgin name. British rookie Max Chilton has been signed on to race for 2013, but after Timo Glock’s departure the identity of his team mate is unknown. GP2 driver Luiz Razia has been linked to the second seat. Key rivals Caterham are set to launch their 2013 challenger on the same day.
