Alonso predicts tighter championship battle
"true">Fernando Alonso has predicted that the battle for the 2013 crown will be a lot tighter than in 2012, and aims to go one step further by bringing the title back to Maranello. Last season’s championship was distinguished by the fact that seven different drivers won the first seven races, before Alonso broke the trend by taking a second victory at the European Grand Prix. Speaking at the launch of the F138, the Spaniard doesn’t see the same unpredictability happening in 2013.
