Williams readies for 'development test'
Williams has confirmed its driver schedule for this week's opening F1 test of the season at Jerez.Pastor Maldonado will hit the track for the opening two days of the four-day test on Tuesday and Wednesday before Valtteri Bottas takes over on Thursday and Friday for his first outings as a race driver.The Grove-based team will be the only one to run its 2012 car at Jerez, having elected to launch the FW35 in Barcelona prior to the second test of the off-season.As such, the focus for this week's test will be on continued development work on parts that will feature on the new car when it breaks cover on 19 February.“As part of our preparations for the 2013 season, we took the decision to...
