Ferrari breaks down at Jerez
Ferrari's progress at the Jerez test suffered a setback on Friday morning when their F138 rolled to a halt after completing just two laps. With new test driver Pedro de la Rosa behind the wheel, the car pulled up between Turns 7 and 8. Smoke billowed from the Ferrari and after de la Rosa climbed from the cockpit, it was loaded on to a flat-bed truck.
The car was then returned to the pits, where Ferrari mechanics used red screens to shield it from view.
As yet, there is no word on what caused the breakdown, although no oil was reported at the scene.
