Massa: P1 time means nothing
Felipe Massa is keeping his "feet on the ground" as he believes his blistering P1 time on Thursday is of little significance.
Massa blitzed the competition on Day Three at the Jerez circuit when he crossed the line with a 1:17.879 during the morning session.
The Ferrari driver's time was set on a short run on the soft tyres and he followed it up a short while later with a marginally slower lap.
But despite finishing 0.339s ahead of the week's second best time, which was set by Romain Grosjean on Wednesday, Massa insists it is nothing to get too excited about.
