Kerb damage halts testing

The hole in the exit kerb NF1 Enlarge Damage to the outside Jerez's turn nine has brought a halt to testing after concrete came loose on the exit kerb. At 12:43 red flags came out to stop the test with the marshals attending the kerb to sweep away loose concrete. Once the debris had been removed it became clear that testing would not be able to resume as a significant hole had been left in the kerbing about a foot square. From the circuit's CCTV pictures it looks an inch or two deep and will require filling before the cars can get back out on track. Team members went out to the scene to assess the damage to the track.
