Bottas: Jerez was 'valuable'
Valtteri Bottas insists the Jerez test has proved "really positive" for Williams with a development version of their 2012 car despite not featuring near the top of the timesheet all week. The Grove team were the only one on the grid not to debut their 2013 car, the FW35, at this week's opening test of the winter having instead decided to prioritise more development time in the wind tunnel.
Although last year's FW34 was updated to include a number of 2013-spec developments - particularly a Coanda exhaust - neither Bottas nor team-mate Pastor Maldonado finished higher than eighth on the timesheets, with the team's fastest lap time on each day around two seconds off the pace. F1 on...
