'Russia will be ready for F1'
Bookmakers like Paddy Power and others are already offering odds on a who will be the first winner of a Russian GP after it was confirmed that Sochi will be ready to stage a round of the F1 Championship in November 2014, according to Anatoly Pakhomov, the mayor of Russia's 2014 Winter Olympic host city.
"After the Olympics, Sochi will host the Formula One race in November," Anatoly Pakhomov told Russia's RIA-Novosti news agency, as he commented on the new race which already has people who like to bet on F1 licking their lips with anticipation. "The construction of the racing circuit is on schedule," he added.
