Barca: Perez raises the bar

Sergio Perez signed off from Formula 1's first week at Barcelona by taking McLaren back to the top of the timesheets for the first time since the opening day of winter testing, as Red Bull's RB9 ground to a halt for the very first time. For the second successive day testing at the Circuit de Catalunya was dominated by the grid's established front-running teams, with last year's top five Constructors' Championship finishers disputing the top five positions on the Day Two timesheet But unlike Day One, when McLaren ran under the radar, Perez took the MP4-28 to the forefront with a single flying lap on the soft tyres, becoming the first and only man this week to dip below one minute twenty...
