Coughlan doesn't expect repeat of tyre issues
Williams technical director Mike Coughlan says he is not expecting tyres to create such a lottery in the early races as they did in 2012. Last season saw seven different winners from the first seven grands prix as teams struggled to keep the Pirelli tyres in their optimal working range. At the second test in Barcelona many drivers have highlighted how difficult it is to carry out long runs due to the tyre degradation, but Coughlan has no concerns about how big a challenge they will be.
