Alonso sets early testing pace
Ferrari's Fernando Alonso set the pace early on the third day of the second pre-season test. Midway through the morning session at Barcelona's Circuit de Catalunya, the Spaniard headed Williams's Pastor Maldonado by 0.374secs. Red Bull's Mark Webber was third, 0.731secs behind Alonso, with Lotus's Romain Grosjean fourth. Mercedes' Nico Rosberg and McLaren's Jenson Button had not set a flying lap.
