Boullier keeping expectations in check until final test
Lotus team principal Eric Boullier has played down his team's testing pace over the last two weeks, saying the upgrades brought to next week's test are what really matter. Lotus topped the timesheets on two days at the first test and then showed promising pace over longer runs at Barcelona this week. However, Boullier is not reading anything into his rival's performances until the substantial upgrades planned at most teams are added to the cars next week. "Confident? No. Happy? Yes," he said when asked how he felt about Lotus' performance in testing. "It's just testing and I know at the next test everybody is going to bring their Melbourne spec [cars], so we will see next...
