Lady Virginia Williams passes away
Williams F1 has announced that Lady Virginia Williams died on Thursday at the age of 66. She had been battling cancer for more than two years. "Lady Virginia, or 'Ginny' as she was better known, died peacefully at the family home last night surrounded by Frank and the rest of the Williams family," a statement read. "Ginny will always be an integral part of Williams' history and success, and today we pay tribute to a much loved member of the Williams family who will be sorely missed." Tributes flooded in from across the F1 world. "Ginny was a truly great lady," said Ron Dennis, former team principal of McLaren and long time friend of Frank Williams ....
