Perez 'desperate' for first victory
Sergio Perez says he is "desperate to get a win" when he starts his McLaren career this weekend. After an impressive season with Sauber in 2012, Perez secured two second places but missed out on his best opportunity to win when failing to find a way past Fernando Alonso at the Malaysian Grand Prix. However, with a switch to McLaren opening up more chances to fight at the front, Perez admits he is "desperate" to reach the top step as soon as possible but won't try to force the issue. "As a Formula One driver, you dream to win your first race," Perez is quoted by Reuters. "It's something you have dreamed of all your life. I have no idea what it feels like....
